Peter Whitehead who lived in Howick bred Maggie-May and she was my first cattle dog.

 

Her dam was ‘Biddy’ who was bred by Patricia Fainges in Hoya Queensland and her sire was ‘Wogga’ who was owned by David Kimber from the Dargle.

 

Maggie showed me what a cattle dog is all about!

 

She had a loving and kind temperament whilst being an excellent watchdog. She loved children and had a lovely fun side to her temperament.

 

She was an excellent worker and worked with our dairy cows, their calves and our sheep. She instinctively knew who needed gentle handing.

She was an amazing dog.
